Pilot Uninjured as Empty Commercial Plane Crashes in Alaska

  • On October 27, 2012, a commercial plane crashed in Emmonak, Alaska. The pilot had to sleep in the plane overnight until he could be rescued.

    Last Saturday, a pilot, Cody McCall, was flying a commercial plane alone when he experienced serious mechanical problems. He was forced to conduct an emergency landing when he crashed landed in Emmonak next to the mouth of the Yukon River.

    Luckily, McCall was uninjured but forced to spend the night in the plane until rescuers found him the next day.
